ACQUISITION OF COLOMBO TRUST FINANCE PLC

Following the announcement by Dialog Axiata PLC (“Dialog”) to the Colombo Stock Exchange (“CSE”) today, we are pleased to announce that Dialog, a 83.32% subsidiary of Axiata Group Berhad, has today acquired by way of stock trade crossing on CSE, a total of 37,374,598 ordinary shares of Colombo Trust Finance PLC from Cargills Bank Limited.
