Reference is made to the announcements dated 15 May 2024, 11 December 2024, 10 February 2025, 4 March 2025 and 7 March 2025 in relation to the Proposed Merger.

Axiata wishes to announce that the Company has received the following approvals in relation to the Proposed Merger:

1. OJK had, vide its letter dated 19 March 2025, issued an effective statement (pernyataan efektif) on the Merger Plan.
2. IDX had, vide its letter dated 19 March 2025, granted its approval-in-principle on the listing of the Consideration Shares on the IDX subject to compliance with relevant IDX regulations.
3. BNM had, vide its letter dated 7 March 2025, granted approval under Notice 3 (Investment in Foreign Currency Assets) of the Foreign Exchange Notices issued by BNM for the remittance of cash amounts out of Malaysia by AII to implement the share buyback arrangement pursuant to the Proposed Business Combination subject to relevant conditions.
