We refer to our announcement dated 28 July 2008 in relation to the Securities Commission's ("SC") approval for the extension of time for TMI to implement the proposed issuance of up to 10% of the issued and paid-up share capital of TMI ("Proposed Issuance").

The SC's approval for the Proposed Issuance will expire on 29 January 2009. On behalf of TMI, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that on 15 January 2009, an application was made to the SC for an extension of time of up to 29 July 2009 for TMI to implement the Proposed Issuance.

This announcement is dated 15 January 2009.
