The Board of Directors of Axiata Group Berhad wishes to announce that Tan Sri Dr Halim Shafie has been appointed as member of Board Risk and Compliance Committee ("BRCC") effective 1 November 2020.

The composition of the BRCC following the said appointment is as follows:-
i) Dr David R. Dean - Chairman, Independent Non-Executive Director ("INED");

ii) Dato Dr Nik Ramlah Nik Mahmood – Member, INED;

iii) Dato’ Mohd Izzaddin Idris – Member, Executive Director/Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer; and

iv) Tan Sri Dr Halim Shafie - Member, INED.
