We refer to the above article appearing in "The Edge, Financial Daily" on Tuesday, 10 June 2008.

TM International Berhad ("TMI") wishes to inform and clarify to the Exchange that:-

1) Upon completion of the demerger of Telekom Malaysia Berhad ("TM") Group on 25 April 2008, as far as we are aware, TM does not have any interest in India.

2) TMI is exploring various opportunities to expand in the South and Southeast Asia mobile markets, including India, and is at all times in discussions with various parties in pursuance of this objective.

TMI will make an announcement on the Exchange in the event TMI or any of its subsidiaries undertakes any material transaction or corporate action.
