We refer to the announcement dated 7 May 2019 in relation to the commencement of the Voluntary Liquidation and Dissolution by DeeXpand Company Limited (“DeeXpand”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”) held through Axiata Business Services Sdn Bhd and Xpand Investments (Labuan) Limited.

Axiata wishes to announce that pursuant to an application for the Voluntary Dissolution by DeeXpand registered with the Department of Business Development (“DBD”) on 17 May 2019, DeeXpand has registered the completion of the Voluntary Liquidation process with the DBD with effect from 12 May 2020. The notification of the completion of the Voluntary Liquidation of DeeXpand was received by DeeXpand on 13 May 2020. 

The Voluntary Liquidation of DeeXpand will not have any material effect on the earnings or net assets of the Axiata Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2020. None of the Directors or major shareholders of Axiata or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said Voluntary Liquidation.

The cost of investment of DeeXpand is THB250,000.
