We refer to the announcements dated 28 March 2019, 4 April 2019, 24 April 2019 and 17 May 2019 in relation to the DRS (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise stated, the definitions used herein shall have the same meanings as set out in the Announcements.
On behalf of Axiata, CIMB wishes to announce that Axiata had, on 17 May 2019, issued and allotted 50,321,548 new Shares pursuant to the DRS in respect of the Dividend. The new Shares were listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Securities with effect from 9.00 a.m. on Tuesday, 21 May 2019.
With the listing of the new Shares, the enlarged issued and paid-up share capital of Axiata is 9,128,614,241 Shares.
