Reference is made to our announcements of 22 April 2019 and 26 April 2019 (“Previous Announcements”).

Unless defined here, capitalised terms in this announcement shall bear the same meaning as defined in the Previous Announcements.

Axiata wishes to inform that the Supreme Court had, upon hearing the Ncell Application on 7 May 2019, made the follow orders: -

(a)     That a full bench of the Supreme Court be convened to hear and decide on the Ncell Application; and

(b)     That the temporary stay order granted on 25 April 2019 be continued, in the period of which the Respondents are refrained from taking any steps against Ncell.        

Axiata will make further announcements upon material developments arising from the Ncell Application.
