Axiata wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) has approved the Company’s request for a suspension in the trading of the securities of the Company on the Main Market of Bursa Securities with effect from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on 6 May 2019 pending the release of a material announcement.

The request for suspension is made under subparagraph 3.1(b)(v) of Practice Note No. 2 on Requests for Suspension of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities.
