Working experience and occupation	A progressive career spanning over 37 years has provided in-depth working experience in the whole spectrum of human resource management. The first 4 years was in the employment of the Housing and Development Board of Singapore. This was followed by a career as a human resource consultant in Arthur Young & Co. Subsequently she moved into the Group HR function of Sunway Berhad, a conglomerate with interests in construction, education and health. Her next stints were heading the human capital functions of ICI Paints (M) Sdn Bhd, Digital Equipment Malaysia before retiring as Executive Director/Human Resource Director of Guinness Anchor Berhad in 2006. Post retirement up to present, she engages in a part-time executive coaching & strategic leadership advisory role in ensuring top team alignment to the company's strategic business objectives. During her tenure, she was a member of the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF) Council and a panel member of the Malaysian Industrial Court. She was also a Member of the Accreditation Board of the Women Institute of Management (WIM) Professional Manager Certification Program.
