Datuk Azzat Kamaludin is a lawyer by profession and is a partner of the law firm of Azzat & Izzat. Prior to being admitted as advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1979, he served as an administrative and diplomatic officer with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia from 1970 to 1979. Between 1 March 1993 to 21 March 1999, he served as a member of the Securities Commission Malaysia. |

Remarks :
Datuk Azzat retired at the conclusion of 26th Annual General Meeting of Axiata Group Berhad ("Axiata" or "Company") held today, 23 May 2018 pursuant to Article 93 of the Articles of Association of the Company and did not offer himself for re-election. Following his retirement, Datuk Azzat also ceased as Member of the Board Audit Committee, Member of Board Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Senior Independent Non-Executive Director ("SINED") of Axiata.
The Board of Directors of Axiata had at its meeting held on 22 May 2018 resolved that Tan Sri Ghazzali Sheikh Abdul Khalid be appointed as SINED in place of Datuk Azzat.
