We refer to the announcement dated 20 April 2007 by Telekom Malaysia Berhad ("TM") regarding the full payment of settlement sum by the Government of Ghana ("GoG") to TM in accordance with the terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 7 May 2005, which resulted in the transfer of TM's ownership of 30% shares in Ghana Telecommunications Company Limited held by G-Com Limited ("G-Com"), a subsidiary of TMI, to the GoG.

TMI wishes to announce that following actions taken to dissolve G-Com and as notified by G-Com's Liquidator, on 30 April 2008, the Registrar of Companies of Ghana has endorsed the dissolution of G-Com with effect from 17 April 2008 pursuant to Section 261(5) of the Ghanaian Companies Code 1963.

Henceforth, G-Com had with effect from 17 April 2008 ceased to be a subsidiary of TMI.

This announcement is dated 2 May 2008.
