The Board of Directors of Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”) (“Board”) had on 22 February 2018 announced a final tax exempt dividend under single tier system of RM0.035 per ordinary share in Axiata (“Share”) in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2017 (“Final Dividend”) and the application of the DRS to the Final Dividend, whereby shareholders of Axiata will be given an option to elect to reinvest the whole or part of the Final Dividend into new Shares. On behalf of the Board, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that an application to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad for the listing of and quotation for the new Shares to be issued pursuant to the DRS in respect of the Final Dividend has been submitted today.
