We wish to inform that Axiata Business Services Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”), had on 22 January 2018 incorporated a new subsidiary, Axiata Global Services Pte Ltd (“AGSPL”) (Company No. 201802703Z), a private company limited by shares, in Singapore, under the Companies (Amendment) Act 2017.

AGSPL was incorporated with an issued and paid-up share capital of USD2.00. The intended principal activities of AGSPL are to carry out regional Business-to-Business transactions including shared service support for Axiata Group.

The incorporation of AGSPL is not expected to have any material effect on the earning and Net Assets of Axiata for financial year ending 31 December 2018.

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of Axiata and/or persons connected to them have any direct or indirect interest in the incorporation of AGSPL.
