We wish to inform that Axiata Digital Services Sdn. Bhd.(“ADSSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”) had on 14 November 2017 incorporated a new subsidiary, PT Axiata Digital Services Indonesia (“PTADSI”), a limited liability company under Indonesian Law No. 40 of 2007. The incorporation of PTADSI was completed following receipt by ADSSB on 16 November 2017 of the registration certificate (registration no. 4017111431102497) from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Republic of Indonesia.

PTADSI was incorporated with an approved share capital of USD250,000. The intended principal activity of the Company is to carry out the business of digital financial services of ADSSB in Indonesia.

The incorporation of PTADSI is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings and Net Assets of Axiata for financial year ending 31 December 2017.

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of Axiata and/or persons connected to them have any direct or indirect interest in the incorporation of PTADSI.
