We wish to inform that Axiata Digital Services Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”), had on 9 January 2017 completed the incorporation of AXIATA DIGITAL ECODE SDN. BHD. (“ADE”) (Company No. 1214970-T), a private company limited by shares, under the Companies Act, 1965.

ADE was incorporated with an authorised share capital of RM400,000.00 divided into 400,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each. The issued and paid-up share capital of ADE is RM2.00 and its intended principal activities are to carry out the business of researching and developing internet services and mobile applications.

The incorporation of ADE is not expected to have any material effect on the earning and Net Assets of Axiata for financial year ending 31 December 2017.

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of Axiata and/or persons connected to them have any direct or indirect interest in the incorporation of ADE.
