We refer to the announcement on the above dated 1 September 2016 with regard to the approval of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh (“High Court”) on the Scheme of Amalgamation for the amalgamation of Airtel Bangladesh with Robi.

The High Court had, in its order dated 21 September 2016;  inter-alia, directed both Robi and Airtel Bangladesh to register the Scheme of Amalgamation with Registry of Joint Stock Companies (“RJSC”) within 4 weeks from the date of order of 21 September 2016.

Robi had today obtained the extension from the High Court for the registration with RJSC for a period of 4 weeks from today, 9 November 2016 to 9 December 2016.
