The Board of Directors of Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”) (“Board”) had on 17 February 2016 announced a final single tier dividend of RM0.12 per ordinary share of RM1.00 each in Axiata (“Share”) in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2015 (“Final Dividend”) and the application of the DRS to the Final Dividend, whereby shareholders of Axiata will be given an option to elect to reinvest the whole or part of the Final Dividend into new Shares. On behalf of the Board, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that an application to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad for the listing of and quotation for the new Shares to be issued pursuant to the DRS in respect of the Final Dividend has been submitted today. This announcement is dated 26 April 2016. |
