Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”) refers to its announcements dated 9 April 2014 and 10 April 2014 in respect of the  applications by i) TSDTR and Dato’ Bistamam bin Ramli; and ii) Dieter Sieber, Dr. Frank-Reinhard Bartsch, Joerg Andreas Boy, Axel Hass and Oliver Tim Axmann (“Applicants”) to the Federal Court for leave to appeal against the decision of the Court of Appeal dated 11 March 2014 (“Leave Applications”).

Axiata wishes to announce that the Federal Court had on 31 March 2016 dismissed the Leave Applications with costs of RM15,000.00 to be paid by each of the group of Applicants i) and ii) above to Celcom and TRI. Consequently, the proceeding in the High Court shall resume.

Axiata will make further announcements from time to time in respect of any material developments on this matter.
