We refer to the announcement dated 19 July 2012 in relation to the establishment of the multi-currency Sukuk programme with an aggregate nominal value of up to USD1.5 billion or its equivalent in other currencies (“Sukuk Programme”).

On behalf of Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”), CIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that Axiata SPV2 Berhad, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Axiata, had on 15 March 2016 successfully priced its United States Dollar (“USD”) denominated Sukuk to be issued pursuant to the Sukuk Programme (“Third Series”).

The bookbuilding process for the Third Series was completed intra-day on 15 March 2016. The Third Series is expected to be listed and quoted on Bursa Malaysia (under the Exempt Regime) and on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited with the following salient terms:
