Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”) refers to its announcement dated 18 January 2016 in respect of the decision of the Court of Appeal on 18 January 2016 in dismissing the appeal filed by the 1st Defendant and the 2nd Defendant against the judgment of the High Court dated 20 March 2013 ("Decision - Court of Appeal”). Axiata wishes to announce that the 1st Defendant and the 2nd Defendant have on 4 February 2016 filed an application for leave to appeal to the Federal Court against the Decision - Court of Appeal. Axiata will make further announcements from time to time in respect of any material development in this matter.
