Following the notification by Dialog Axiata PLC (“Dialog”) to the Colombo Stock Exchange on 27 November 2014, we wish to inform that Dialog, an 83.32%-owned subsidiary of Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”), had on 24 November 2014 completed the incorporation of ‘DIGITAL HOLDINGS LANKA (PRIVATE) LIMITED’ (“DHL”) (Company No. PV 102356), a private company limited by shares, under the Companies Act, No. 7 of 2007.

DHL was incorporated with a stated capital of LKR10. The nature of business to be carried by DHL is as an investment holding company.

The incorporation of DHL is not expected to have any material effect on the earning and Net Tangible Assets of Axiata for financial year ending 31 December 2014.

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of Axiata and/or persons connected to them have any direct or indirect interest in the incorporation of DHL.
