Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”) refers to its previous announcement dated 12 March 2014 wherein it was announced that the Court of Appeal had on 11 March 2014 dismissed the appeals by, inter alia Axel Hass and Oliver Tim Axmann and DeTeAsia Holding GmbH (“Defendants”) with costs. The Court of Appeal also ordered that the proceedings in the High Court be stayed pending the disposal of the Defendants’ applications for leave to appeal to the Federal Court.
Axiata wishes to announce that the Defendants have on 9 April 2014 filed an application for leave to appeal to the Federal Court. This announcement is dated 10 April 2014. |
