Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”) refers to the announcement dated 23 July 2012 wherein it was announced that Celcom Axiata Berhad’s (formerly known as Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad) application to strike out the above suit was allowed by the High Court on 20 July 2012.
We wish to announce that Mohd Shuaib Ishak had on 13 August 2012 filed an appeal to the Court of Appeal against the above decision of the High Court. Axiata will make further announcements from time to time in respect of any material developments in this matter. This announcement is dated 14 August 2012. |
