Axiata refers to its announcement dated 30 April 2010 regarding the appeal to the Court of Appeal against the decision of the High Court allowing the application by DeTeAsia to set aside the Originating Summons filed by Celcom Axiata Berhad [formerly known as Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad] (“Celcom”) against DeTeAsia (“Appeal”).

Axiata wishes to announce that Celcom has today withdrawn the Appeal with no order as to costs.
