We refer to our earlier announcement on 22 February 2011 on the entry by Celcom into the MOU with TM on strategic collaboration in providing fixed and mobile solutions.
Celcom and TM (collectively the “Parties”) had today entered into a Supplemental Agreement to the MOU (“Supplemental Agreement”) to vary the provision of the MOU in which the Parties will enter into Definitive Agreement(s) in the collaboration areas contemplated under the MOU. Under the Supplemental Agreement, the period in which the Parties will endeavour to enter into Definitive Agreement(s) (“DAs”), which is 2 months from the date of the MOU, has now been extended to 31 May 2011 or such other dates as agreed by the Parties.
The Parties are now at an advanced stage of discussion, however, given the complexity and size of each individual agreement, require an extension to finalise the DAs. The Parties are aiming to execute the DAs by 31 May 2011.
