(Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations used in this Announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in the Company’s announcements in relation to the dispute between the Company and the shareholders of Tune Talk Sdn Bhd dated 13 October 2021, 6 January 2022, 11 February 2022 and 29 March 2022) Reference is made to Axiata’s announcements dated 13 October 2021, 6 January 2022, 11 February 2022 and 29 March 2022. Axiata wishes to inform that (i) Axiata, Celcom, Celcom Mobile and (ii) the Claimants have settled their disputes in relation to Celcom Mobile’s shareholding in Tune Talk (“Disputes”). In conjunction with this, (i) the OS and the injunction order arising from the OS have been withdrawn and discharged by the Claimants on 1 November 2022; and (ii) the termination order for the arbitration proceedings initiated by the Claimants in relation to the Disputes has been issued by the Asian International Arbitration Centre on 29 November 2022. The abovementioned development to the Disputes is not expected to have any significant financial or operational impact on the Axiata group.
