Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”) is pleased to announce that ISOC edotco Towers, Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of edotco Group Sdn Bhd which in turn is a 63.0% owned subsidiary of Axiata, had on 19 April 2022 entered into a Sale and Purchase Agreement with Smart Communications, Inc. and Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc. for the acquisition of 2,973 telecom towers and related assets in the Philippines for a total purchase consideration of PHP42,000 million (equivalent to RM3.42 billion).
