On behalf of the Board of Directors of Axiata, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”) had, vide its letter dated 12 April 2022 which was received on 15 April 2022, granted approval under the Foreign Exchange Notices (consolidated) issued by BNM for Axiata or AII to pay AII’s portion of the Purchase Consideration and MTO Offer Consideration pursuant to the Proposals. This announcement is dated 18 April 2022. |
