Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”) refers to the announcement on 13 October 2021 and The Edge Article dated 5 January 2022 titled as “Court sets Feb 9 to hear Axiata, Celcom’s bid to strike out suit by three Tune Talk shareholders”.
Axiata wishes to inform that since the previous announcement made by Axiata dated 13 October 2021, the respective parties to the originating summons (“OS”) have filed their affidavits in reply to the High Court of Malaya (“High Court”). The High Court had on 5 January 2022 proceeded to fix 9 February 2022 as the hearing date for the OS. Axiata will make further announcement as and when there are material developments on the above matter.
