Unless otherwise stated, the exchange rate of Indonesian Rupiah (“IDR”) 3413 : RM 1.00, being the middle rates prevailing at 12.00 p.m. on 25 October 2021 as published by Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”), has been applied in this Announcement for illustration purposes.

With reference to our announcement dated 27 September 2021 in relation to the Disposal, the Board of Directors of Axiata wishes to announce that Axiata Investments (Indonesia) Sdn Bhd, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of  the Company has, on 27 October 2021, completed the disposal of 533,409,349 ordinary shares in XL, representing approximately 5% equity interest in XL at a disposal consideration of IDR1,440,205 million (equivalent to approximately RM422 million) or IDR2,700 (equivalent to approximately RM0.79) per XL share, to Ferrymount Investments Limited.

Accordingly, Axiata’s shareholding in XL has been reduced to 61.5%.
