Axiata refers to the announcement by Telekom Malaysia Berhad dated 11 October 2007 in relation to the above litigation matter in which Celcom Axiata Berhad [formerly known as Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad] (”Celcom”) was served with a notice of appeal to the Court of Appeal by Dato Saizo against the High Court’s decision in allowing with costs Celcom’s appeal to strike-out the Statement of Claim by Dato Saizo against Celcom and Kamsani.
We wish to announce that the Court of Appeal had today dismissed the appeal filed by Dato Saizo with costs.
