APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS AND CHAIRMAN OF BOARD NOMINATION COMMITTEE AND BOARD REMUNERATION COMMITTEE

We are pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”) had on 3 February 2010 resolved on the appointment of Datuk Azzat Kamaludin and Dr Farid Mohamed Sani as the new members of the Board Nomination Committee ("BNC") and Board Remuneration Committee ("BRC") of Axiata.
The Board of Axiata had on the same date also resolved on the appointment of Tan Sri Ghazzali Sheikh Abdul Khalid as the Chairman of BNC and BRC.
Following the above, the composition of the BNC and BRC comprise the following:-
1. Tan Sri Ghazzali Sheikh Abdul Khalid, Chairman/Independent Non-Executive Director ("NED") 2. Datuk Azzat Kamaludin, Member/Independent NED 3. Dr Farid Mohamed Sani, Member/Non-Independent NED
