We refer to the above mentioned article that appeared in "The Edge" on 16 February 2009 and in particular the following sentences which were carried in the said article:-

"XL may sell as much as a 15% stake in the company in 2Q……..to help fund its US700 million expansion"

TM International Berhad ("TMI") wishes to clarify that PT Excelcomindo Pratama Tbk ("XL") has yet to finalize its capital raising exercise to be implemented in Q209 which may involve, inter-alia, rights issue as reported in the article. XL is evaluating various options to raise funds but have yet to decide on the same.

TMI will make an announcement to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad upon official announcement by XL of its capital raising exercise.
