TM International Berhad ("TMI") refers to its previous announcement dated 1 August 2008 concerning its wholly-owned subsidiary, Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad ("Celcom").

Announcement Details :

TMI wishes to announce that the High Court had, today granted Celcom's application to stay the Order dated 9 July 2008 granting Mohd. Shuaib Ishak leave to commence a statutory derivative action in Celcom's name under Section 181A of the Companies Act 1965 ("Statutory Derivative Action") pending the disposal of Celcom's appeal to the Court of Appeal against the said Order.

By virtue of the abovementioned stay order granted today, all proceedings in the Originating Summons (item no. 1 above) and the Statutory Derivative Action (item no. 2 above) are now stayed pending disposal of Celcom's appeal.

TMI will make further announcement in respect of any material development on these matters.
