Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata”) refers to the announcement dated 24 June 2016 wherein it was announced that Celcom and TRI’s solicitors were served with Defence and Counterclaims for both Conspiracy and Indemnity Suits by TSDTR and Dato’ Bistamam bin Ramli on 23 June 2016.
Axiata wishes to announce that Celcom and TRI have today filed applications to strike out the above Counterclaims.
Axiata will make further announcements from time to time in respect of any material developments of this 2 matters.
