We refer to the above mentioned article that appeared in "Sin Chew Jit Poh" on 16 December 2008, with particular reference to the statement reproduced as follows:

"TMI (6888)…..may be taken private by Khazanah Holdings Bhd at RM4.18 per share"

TM International Berhad ("TMI" or "Company") is not aware of any proposals to take the company private. The Company is not in possession of any information relating to the same and no such information has been announced or released by Khazanah Nasional Berhad.

TMI will make the requisite announcement to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") and take the required actions in accordance with the Listing Requirements of the Bursa Securities in the event any corporate action is made.
